There are many different types of forms of energy available, for example there is solar energy, hydro electric energy, nuclear energy and of course regular electric energy.
With every type of energy choice there is a benefit and drawback as well. for example solar energy is great because it requires nothing but the sun to capture energy, the drawback is that it requires a lot of energy in order to power appliances. Hydro electric energy is great because it only requires water in order to power electrical items, but then at the same time the drawback is that you need water to do this. Nuclear energy is great because it does not leave any type of air pollution making it good for the environment but the problem is that nuclear energy leaves highly toxic waste that is harmful to both plant life and human life.
I think that the only way this can be possible is not with one type of energy source but in fact with a collaboration of different types of energy sources, only then can we have a sustainable type of energy that can maintain ecological balance.
This is because with science we are able to analyze and study the movements of the climate and predict what will happen. The public and politicians can only speculate what may or may not happen with the weather, they have no actual proof.
I dont think they play any role at all, the weather is random and can not be controlled, all you can do is just prepare for what weather might be.
I believe it would be those who are either concerned that the weather might be getting worse and that natural distaters might be more likely to occur.

Back to 1983
I chose to do my “Back to 1983 For A Day”, during my one world week trip to Italy. To begin with this left me with limited technology , there were so many things to do in Italy that didnt require the use of technology. I didnt find this challenge hard at all because even though i enjoy the use of technology i am proud to say that i am not completely dependent on it.
Throughout the entire trip, I would go with a group of friends and explore various sites in the cities we visited in Italy, instead of spending all of our time texting or watching tv like you would back in SD. The experience was certainly one of a kind, it made me stop and look around at the world we live in, without technology. On my chosen day, I was in Rome. I was with Osamah, Liseth, Lisbeth, Amber, and Yesenia. We all went out in the morning to do some shopping, i had gone with Osamah and Amber to get a kebab, we continued shopping at the markets for the next few hours.
Later in the afternoon, we all met up with our entire group. Everyone had been doing their own thing, but we all communicated by setting up meeting times and places, this ensured we were on time, and of course there was never any technology involved. No one ever listened to any Ipods, everyone talked and admired all of sights.
It wasn't hard for me to give up technology, especially in such a beautiful country. The hardest thing for me to give up was my phone, because im so used texting everyday as a form of communication with my friends. It was interesting because from the first day in Italy to the last day i didnt think at all about using my phone to text my friends. If i had a choice of either enjoying the sights in Italy or texting my friends the choice for me would have been very simple.
During my day from technology I adventured through Rome, traveled through markets, and shopped in stores. Entertaining ourselves was never a problem, because Italy had so much to offer. I spent my time outside, walking, and enjoying the city, and before I knew it, my day without technology was done. I was surprised from my time in Rome because it is a very big city, similar to San Diego with the exception that i didnt need to rely on technology to keep me occupied.
